Teachers of College Saint-Jean Nyarusange, learned how to use a new school website

On 04th August 2020 at College Saint Jean Nyarusange, there was training for all teaching staff about new school website. This training was hold from 9h30 in school‘s main hall. We talk about how we can help our students during this pandemic (Covid 19) period. This pandemic came with some challenges that it is mainly a catalyst for change in learning and teaching. We are planning to meet the needs of learners, whereby we are introducing the new learning and teaching system through website named ” www.collegesaintjeannyarusange.com ”.  By using technology, this will helps learners to gain access to learning materials.

We found that, this will help learners to build up their learning potentials and needs correlated with theirs goals. As tutor it is imperative to initially diagnose and help every learner in order to be able to map their future progression.

Carrying out this new learning system, it will strength engagement of learners in learning activities that enable them to understand the content of the lesson and opportunities for learners to participate in providing the feedbacks and questions on the lesson learned. The teacher is able to answer questions of the students as they discuss through live chat. All these are the points that we talked about.

Lastly, we ask parents that they can plan on how their children will spend their time productively by assigning specific tasks and choses to go with academic work. When we talk about learning, it doesn’t necessarily refer to school work only; it involves many things including instilling and morals in learners. Utilizing this time to shape the lives of learners is important as there is so much to learn and time to do it.
